Sleddogrevue Schlittenhunde und Schlittenhundesport

On the weekend of 8 / 9 March it was so far:

The Taunus Group "of SSNH had to training camp on the large load Feldberg in the Taunus and mushers from near and far who came to train this year, instead of driving the usual race!

The race could unfortunately take place, for organizational reasons, so we have   with the kind support of the field Berghof, organized the community and Schmitten Mikes Quadfactory Schmitten from a training camp, which for mushers and spectators alike arrived equally well.

The approximately 6 km track was demanding and accustomed to muddy, as unfortunately was defrosted on Friday morning, the remaining snow ...

The visitors were next to non-ending question time at the Musher (Quote: "finally have their mushers have time to answer our questions"), a rally for children, a round trip in the wagon with Husky Anakin (www.Kohn-Kennel.de) for children as well as short introductory tours for youth and adults with the 5-a team of Serkan Sirlibas, Bernd BRODESSER   and Bruno and Coslar and the 3-team of Dieter Gutfleisch offered.

Not forgetting the many cuddly units and an idea of sport, with photographs, paintings and the most important "Musher utensils" in the wedding room of the field of Berghof and with Rolf Muench, of the Animal Welfare SSNH.

At the conclusion of the visit to the Feldberg mountain plateau, the visitors could then buy more souvenirs and homemade jam.

All in all a successful weekend that was by the great support of dog teams, the field Berghof and the company from Yukon Usingen a total success.

Thanks again to all the mushers for their participation and perhaps we will meet at Easter on Hattstein pond in Usingen (such as the Forest Service for permitting) for training camp or on the final race in the Huskycup Gräfendorf.
